Motives were defined as Social and economic value of children, such as social importance of parenthood, economical support for parents in the future; Personal fulfilment, as contributing for meaning of own life; Continuity, such as importance of genetic continuity and family lineage. Participants rated each motive from 1 to 5. T tests for independent samples were conducted to compare value of motives between men and women
