  1. NASG = non-pneumatic anti-shock garment. Data are n (column %), mean (SD) or median (IQR). The denominator is the entire population, unless otherwise noted.
  2. Tests of significance of differences by study phase were chi-square for categorical variables, t-tests (assuming unequal variances) for normally-distributed continuous variables and Wilcoxon rank-sum tests for continuous variables with non-normal distributions.
