Role on RISE

Researchers

Key stakeholders who had been actively involved in the initial implementation of the RISE but were no longer actively engaged in the implementation at the time of the interview. These were selected as they had played a key role in formulating the intervention, developing the proposal and the study tools.

Key stakeholders from the Ministry of Health

These stakeholders were working for the Ministry of Health and with adolescent SRH activities at national level.

Trial supervisors

The trial supervisors over saw the project intervention and activities at district level and were involved in the day to day implementation of the interventions. They worked closely with the country coordinator, the teachers and the CBHWs.

Principle investigators

Overseeing that all the activities related to RISE were conducted in line with the protocol. The principle investigators were deeply involved in the daily management of RISE.

Research team

These participants were part of the country research team focusing mainly on the implementation of the combined intervetion arm and on issues related to community engagement and school dropouts.
